Below are the most common questions we receive about car detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating, and vehicle maintenance in Kelowna. This FAQ page is designed to help you understand our services and choose the right detailing package for your vehicle.
Car detailing is a deep cleaning and restoration process that focuses on improving the appearance, cleanliness, and long-term preservation of your vehicle. This includes interior cleaning, exterior washing, polishing, paint protection, and specialized treatments like ceramic coatings and paint correction.
Most Kelowna drivers benefit from a full interior and exterior detail every 3–6 months. Polishing and ceramic coating services depend on the condition and protection level you want.
At this time we operate primarily from our Kelowna location. Mobile detailing may be available for certain exterior services—contact us for inquiries.
Our Interior Detailing package includes vacuuming, steam cleaning, stain removal, carpet shampooing, leather cleaning, UV protection, interior plastics restoration, and deep cleaning of vents, consoles, cupholders, and trims. It is designed to restore your cabin to the cleanest condition possible.
Yes — heavy stains, salt buildup, and pet hair removal are part of our enhanced interior detailing service. Excessive pet hair or severe staining may require additional time and a small extra charge.
A full interior detail typically takes 2–4 hours, depending on size and condition.
We include a foam pre-soak, hand wash, iron removal, clay bar treatment, tire dressing, rim cleaning, window cleaning, and a 3–6 month paint sealant. This package deep cleans and protects your exterior from Okanagan dust, road salt, pollen, and UV exposure.
Wax adds temporary protection, but polish actually removes imperfections such as swirls, oxidation, haze, and scratches. Polishing restores gloss while wax only sits on top of the paint. Our 1-Stage and 2-Stage polish options are true corrective services.
Paint correction is the process of safely machine-polishing a vehicle’s clear coat to remove swirl marks, scratches, water spots, and oxidation. This brings back clarity, depth, and a mirror-like shine.
1-Stage Polish: Light correction + gloss enhancement. 2-Stage Correction: Heavy cut + finishing polish for deeper restoration. 2-Stage is ideal for scratched, dull, or heavily swirled paint.
Yes — polishing removes clear coat scratches, swirl marks, and surface defects. Deep scratches that catch a fingernail may be reduced but not fully removed without repainting.
Ceramic coating is a durable liquid polymer that bonds to your paint and forms a long-term protective layer. It enhances gloss, repels water, protects against UV rays, and makes your vehicle easier to wash.
Our XPEL ceramic coatings last 3–5 years with proper maintenance. They provide much longer protection than wax or sealants.
Yes — ceramic coating provides stronger protection, better shine, and years of durability. Wax lasts only a few weeks or months and offers minimal chemical resistance.
